Our first Potty story!

We're not trying to push potty on her right now, just trying to familiarize her with it in hopes that it might make it a little easier down the road. But the other night I sat Natalie on the "potty" just to see what she would do, it was so funny, she got really quite, started looking from side to side, then looked at me and just started laughing. I got her down and that was the end of it. Yesterday morning when we got up, I noticed that her diaper was dry so I took her straight to the bathroom and plopped her on the potty. She sat there for about a minute and then finally used it. She didn't know what to think. This evening when I got home, we were in the bathroom, I flushed, she started waving saying"bye bye" then turned around and started backing herself up to the potty as if to try and sit on it. I just thought it was too cute. So tonight before bathtime, I thought I would see if she wanted to sit, she had a little jello pudding cup in her hand and as soon as i took her diaper off, she threw the cup in the potty, so while i'm fishing around trying to get the cup, I hear something on the floor! I tried to hurry and get her on the potty, but it was too late! I guess I deserved it!

heehee! I don't think it's to early to start training her. You never know she might be trained by 15 - 18 months. Wouldn't that be wonderful! No more diapers!

HAHAHA! hope she peed in the floor and not ya know something else cause that's just gross.

Yea Natalie! That is great she used the potty. I know how you felt fishing in the toilet then having to clean up the mess, been there.

Awww, yay Natalie! I can't believe she actually used it. That's awesome! Hee hee, too cute of a story. But I hope she peed in the floor rather than something else, ha ha.
